Join for Fun and Friendship

The very best part of being a member of our association is the fun and camaraderie that comes from taking part in activities with other RVers. We hold Rallies in different areas of B.C. between April and September, where there is something for everyone: fun, food, fellowship, activities and informative seminars. Taking part in these Rallies is the best way to meet new friends that share your love for RVing.

Join one of our RV Clubs

Members go out on frequent weekend outings. For many, this is the best part of being an RVOABC member. Share travel and camping fun with people like yourself -- RVing people. We invite you to get involved and enjoy your RV more. It's a lot of fun!!

THIS IS WHERE LIFETIME FRIENDSHIPS AND MEMORIES BEGIN!

Don't have a club in your area? No problem. We, the Recreation Vehicle Owner's Association, will help you start a club in your area. All you need to start is to have one other couple with you that is interested in a club. We will run an ad in your local paper and also in the RV Times. When you have 3 or 4 couples, you hold a meeting and pick a name for your club. We will fill you in on that part when you are ready to start. The cost to belong to your club is up to you - some clubs start with $25.00 per unit and then $20.00 per year. We do not charge for helping you get set up - all we ask is that you support our organization. For more information, please feel free to call Roy Grognet at (604) 856-5691.

We send out a newsletter from time to time to keep our members informed on RV's and RVing, as well as Association and club activities, travel and maintenance tips. Also, as part of our membership package, we include a subscription to the magazine, RV Times, published six times a year. It is Western Canada's most popular RV magazine, devoted to the RV lifestyle, chock full of good RV reading - written by actual RVers.

Yearly CASH Draw

At our Annual General Meeting, the Association will hold a draw. This draw is to do with you, the shopper, and our Commercial members that belong to this Association. Every time that you buy anything from one of the Commercial Members, you save your receipt and then send it in to the Association for the draw. You may send in as many receipts as you like. If you need to keep the original, then just send us a photocopy. All receipts must have your printed name and address on them. Be sure that the Commercial Member does belong to the Association and that the date and the Commercial Member's name is readable. All receipts are to be dated between September 1st, 2005 and August 31st, 2006 and must reach the Association by September 14th, 2006. To be eligible for the draw, the winning combination of Member and Commercial Member must be valid, paid up members of the Association at the time of the draw. You can check the Commercial page in the RV Times for a list of all valid Commercial Members. One ticket will be drawn from the entry box at the meeting and the winner will be awarded $100.00. Of course, we would like you to attend the Annual General Meeting, but we know that it is hard for some of you to do so, therefore, if the winner is not present, we will mail out the winnings Please send all receipts to: R.V.
