Hello Campers,

First of all, let's talk about the Spring Rally. All is going well. Those of you who are signed up need only to arrive at the RV park from 1pm onwards and then find my trailer and sign in. The office staff at the park will tell you how to find me. You only need to bring food for Friday supper and Saturday lunch. We always have a great time at Burnaby.

You will be provided with an activity sheet on arrival together with a name tag. Please wear the name tag at all times. For those who are not familiar with the park, take the Gaglardi Way exit from the freeway, and follow the signs.

Travelling west on the freeway, take the exit then just a short distance to the first light, turn right and then to the next light and turn left and follow the signs. If you need assistance with your vehicle the staff at the park will be glad to help. Regarding the meals, please bring your own cutlery and plate, bowl and a cup. There will be the usual Craft Sale, Cake Walk, Beanbag Baseball, Nature Walk or stroll depending on what you want to do. Also the usual 50/50 draws, attendance prize and raffle for some nice prizes. The park has a great indoor pool so bring your swim gear.

A note to our new members. Firstly, let me welcome you to the association. Also, this note applies to anyone thinking of joining us. It takes about 3 weeks for you to get your card. We pick up the mail once a week, then the forms go to the treasurer who issues a receipt. It then goes to the secretary who will issue your card. In other words, don't look for a reply in a week, it won't happen. But don't worry, it will get to you as soon as possible. We have quite a few new members this month. If you signed up recently and your name is not in this issue, it just means you have missed the deadline and you will be in the next issue. But you will still have your card.

 Fort Langley camping weekend. June 6th to 8th. The cost to you is only what we have to pay the park plus the cost of a catered dinner on Saturday evening. As we are expected to pay sometime in advance please send your checks in as soon as possible. Use the usual rally form and change the date to read June 6th to 8th. The check should be in the amount of $66 for the camping. If you wish to have the dinner please indicate on the form and we will collect the money when you sign in on Friday June 6th We don't know the cost yet but assume it will be in the $20 per person range or less depending on what we order.

Humdinger Show. The show was a success and enabled us to meet a lot of people who have signed up as members since. Glad to see there are some new RV parks opening up. A note to anyone opening up, be sure to sign up as a commercial member then we can list you in this magazine.

Many thanks to our members who helped out at the show. Without your help, we could not be at the show, so thank you again. We always need more help at these shows and if you would like to help please let us know.
