Viewing: May 2009

Greetings RVers,

By the time you are reading this I trust we will be will into Spring even though I did see snow coming down the morning of April 1st, or was that an April Fool's joke?

The March Humdinger RV show in Chiliwack kept our volunteer members quite busy signing up new members and taking renewals.  I would like to thank Ken Bjorge, Barbara Laurie, Joan Beaulieu, Roy & Joyce Grognet, Pat Caffery, Vivian Rail, Don & Kim Smith, Trenor & Barb Tilley for a job well done. A double thank you to Jan & Barrie Clark, Joyce & George Mc Cluskie for taking the booth down and packing it away in the locker. And of course to my good wife Diane Wright, and also to my son Robbie for his help in setting up the booth for the Show.

Roy Grognet informed the Executive that he will be stepping down as Past President due to personal reasons.  His endless help with the organization will be greatly missed. I quess one could say Roy is doing Total Retirement now. We all wish him the very best, and once again extend a huge thank you.
